Sage Park (they/them) is a production design BFA candidate at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, graduating in 2027. Growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountains, they have always admired the beauty of nature, community, and where they intertwine.
Worlds of imagination hold a special place in their heart. They are especially drawn to set design, fabrication, and animation. They love the collaborative nature of both film and theatre and seek out roles that work closely with a team.
They have worked on numerous films in the Art Department and also completed a 3.5-month Scenic Apprenticeship at The Cape Playhouse (more on that here).
Drawn to the intricacies of life, they want to help people share theirs. They hope to use production design to elevate voices and promote connection. Never one to stay in the box, they want to explore the infinite ways art can bring understanding, outside and within. Off of set, Sage can be found practicing bird calls, collecting trinkets, and dancing like no one is watching.
